Split system air conditioner
A split system air conditioner is a refrigerant air conditioner that comes in two separate parts – the outside unit that has a compressand condenser, and the indoor unit that has an evaporator. The outdoor condenser and compressor unit dissipates hot air from inside, and the evaporator is part of the indoor unit that helps blow cool air inside. Think of it like an advanced filtration system.
As for reverse cycle air conditioners, they have a condenser that’s also placed in the inside unit. The two units are then connected by insulated tubes, which are then piped through a hole in the wall. Both traditional split system and reverse cycle air conditioners are fairly compact, quiet and fairly efficient to run.
